Homestead is a true collaboration of local craftsmanship- designed and hand-poured by The Market@Lake Martin, shaped and glazed by the talented Misty Woods with local One Oak Pottery.

Each candle is one of a kind, distinct with its own character and natural variations including the dragonfly potterer’s stamp. The scent combines apples, mint, moss, and musk, capturing the essence of autumn. The beautiful and unique pottery vessel can be repurposed in your home long after the candle has burned.

Wrap yourself in the cozy charm of Homestead! 

We use a luxury coconut soy wax resulting in a beautiful, creamy and smooth candle.  Our small batch candles are made with clean ingredients and quality cotton wicks.

Each candle is hand poured into a 6-ounce timeless piece of pottery.  

Candles have a burn time of approximately 40 + hours.

Be sure to regularly trim the candle wick.

How much is shipping?
Shipping cost is based on weight of the order as well as shipping destination. Your shipping cost will be calculated during the checkout process.

What happens if my package is lost?
Please contact us immediately at info@marketlakemartin.com if you suspect your package is missing.

What happens if the wrong item is sent?
Uh-oh! We are sorry and will ship the correct item asap. Additionally, we will issue a refund for the cost of shipping. Please email us at info@marketlakemartin.com.

What happens if any item in my order arrives damaged?
Please contact us immediately at info@marketlakemartin.com if your package arrived damaged.

Candle Care

You want to ensure your wick is trimmed to 1/4" in length before burning and for every subsequent burn.   Wicks should only be trimmed on cool candles.

Your first candle burn should be between 2-4 hours (for the wax to begin to melt across the surface).  

Burn your candle in a ventilated room. Never leave your candle burning unattended. Avoid burning for more than 4 hours.

Remember to trim the wick between burns.
